About the position

As a maintenance engineer, you will actively work with our equipment by leading and initiating improvements, systematically managing our equipment, monitoring metrics, driving and leading the larger projects we have on our equipment, as well as the annual maintenance shutdown. Your focus is to ensure that we fundamentally have a good preventive maintenance approach where we have as few urgent and unplanned events as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and coordinate the development of working methods, methods, and systems for maintenance routines and follow-up work.
• Propose and investigate improvement suggestions for machinery that causes production losses and/or is costly to maintain.
• Analysis and follow-up regarding availability and economy.
• Prepare documentation for long-term maintenance plans.
• Participate in the work with investment and overhead cost allocations regarding process equipment.

About you

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A university degree in mechanics or equivalent work experience
• Good mechanical skills, such as reading technical drawings
• Experience working in the industry
• Training in root cause analysis
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B

If you also have the following, we consider it an advantage:

• Experience in managing larger projects
• Experience working in maintenance systems, preferably IFS
• Familiarity with relevant standards and legal requirements
• Experience in heavy industry

As a person, you have the ability to communicate clearly and work in a structured manner. You are solution-oriented in your approach with a good ability to collaborate with others and meet people to bring about change.

The position is full-time, with start date according to agreement.
