On behalf of one of our clients, we are now looking for a Buyer. The client is an established company in the manufacturing industry with a focus on quality, delivery reliability, and long-term development. Here you will be offered a stable workplace with the opportunity to influence and develop in your role.

About the position

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for one or more purchasing categories, such as mechanics or hydraulics. The role is both strategic and operational and involves responsibility for supplier strategies, contracts, cost optimization, as well as quality and delivery precision. You will work closely with production, development, and finance and serve as an important link between suppliers and the business. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to a more business-driven, data-driven, and efficient purchasing function.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Development and implementation of supplier strategies
  • Negotiation of contracts and management of supplier relationships
  • Inventory optimization and purchasing analysis
  • Ensuring accurate data in the business system
  • Order placement and delivery monitoring

Your profile

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and responsible. You thrive in a role with many contact points and find it easy to build good relationships both internally and externally. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and used to working independently in a changing environment.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in purchasing, with a background in the manufacturing industry
  • Post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, logistics, or similar
  • Experience with business systems, Jeeves is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing

Scope: Full-time

Working hours: Office hours Monday – Friday

This is an assignment that will initially last for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
