Digital Communicator
We are now looking for a digital communicator with a strong sense of what drives engagement, creates interest, and continues to build the bank's brand. Your main task is to create innovative and inspiring content for our social and digital platforms – reflecting who we are, what we do, and why we do it. Do you have a knack for communication in both moving media as well as in text and images? If so, you are the one we are looking for! Here you can use your creative side and give the marketing plan a little oomph.
About the Role
As a digital communicator, you are the hub and driving force of our digital presence, responsible for planning, producing, and publishing engaging content across all channels. You work closely with the business on a daily basis and move around the community, capturing events, meetings, and stories, packaging them into relevant content for our channels. This can involve everything from text and images to moving material. Working out “in the field” is a natural part of the job. You participate in local events, meet customers, associations, and partners, and transform impressions and materials into content that engages.
This is a broad role within Business Support Marketing & Communication where you also collaborate with other teams in the bank to develop the bank's brand and create the conditions for good customer and business relationships with high customer satisfaction.
As a Digital Communicator
- You have primary responsibility for the bank's digital channels, such as the website, intranet, and social media.
- You take the initiative on which digital channels we should appear in based on set goals, creating engaging content in the media you deem most suitable.
- You follow up on keyword advertising and SEO, digital flows, and social channels to achieve the best possible effect.
- You are involved in developing and realizing the bank's marketing plan.
- You produce and publish material for the bank's communication and marketing.
- You see digitalization as an opportunity to develop our working methods.
- You monitor trends in the market to adapt the bank's communication.
The position is a permanent full-time employment. A probationary period may apply. Location: Borgholm.
About You
We are looking for someone who is great at communication and moves effortlessly in various digital environments. You can create engaging content in both moving media and in text and images to achieve desired effects. You have a good eye for visual expression and a sense of how stories best take shape in social and digital channels. You are comfortable working practically all the way – from idea and recording to published content. At the same time, you have an understanding of brand, tone, and context, and know how content can be adapted without losing its essence.
You have your own drive and are eager to take the initiative. You have the ability to structure and prioritize your tasks based on set goals and the bank's best interests. As an unpretentious team player, you find it easy to collaborate with your colleagues. You will be part of a small team, so you are willing to pitch in where needed.
We prefer that you have relevant education and/or experience primarily in communication, especially in social and digital channels. We place great importance on your personal qualities. A driver's license is a requirement.
About Marketing & Communication & Ölands Bank
The team has primary responsibility for brand strategy, marketing, communication, press and media, and the digital customer experience. We work as an in-house agency where a central part is to work with and highlight the bank's extensive sustainability efforts and community engagement. We support the entire organization with communication to create good customer experiences and increase customer satisfaction. Our tools include several digital tools, including Adobe apps and CMS, Microsoft 365, and our own photo studio. The team has its workplaces at the office in Borgholm.
