Information about the position 

Siccum is a leading company in freeze-drying – a technology that enables cost-effective and environmentally friendly ways to manage waste and recycle valuable resources. Based in Luleå and Pajala, Siccum works to optimize the dewatering of various materials, leading to both economic and environmental benefits.

Job Responsibilities

As a technician at Siccum, you will have a practical and varied role, where you work with the installation, operation, and maintenance of freeze-drying systems. You will be part of an engaged team that drives technological development forward and creates sustainable solutions for the future. Examples of common tasks include: 

  • Assemble, maintain, and adjust freeze-drying equipment.
  • Plan and prepare materials and tools for various work tasks.
  • Ensure that production occurs efficiently and according to quality requirements.
  • Solve technical problems and report larger deviations to management.
  • Participate in improvement work and develop smarter working methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.


We are looking for someone who

  • Is handy and solution-oriented – perhaps you have done a lot of DIY, worked in industry, agriculture, or other practical fields.
  • Has some experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial production – either through education or practical work.
  • Is self-driven and enjoys freedom under responsibility.
  • Has a B driver's license. 

It is an advantage if you have a license for a wheel loader. 
The most important thing for this recruitment is that you are curious and engaged - the rest can be taught by Siccum.

Scope: Full-time (the employment begins with a 6-month fixed-term contract)
