The Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for Huddinge municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit temporary substitutes for various operations within support functions and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.

We are currently looking for temporary and summer substitutes for our elderly homes in central Huddinge. The residences are called Västergården, Björnkulla, Tallgården, and Rosendalsgården. All are located within a short distance from Huddinge center and are easily accessible by bus or car. Rosendalsgården has places for people with somatic issues, while our other residences have places for both people with somatic illnesses and with dementia.

The job responsibilities include meeting our users' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. The assignment also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.

Your Profile

To be considered for the job, you need to be available at least three days a week and be able to work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, or alternatively night, on both weekdays and weekends. Start date is according to agreement, and we will prioritize candidates who can also work during Christmas and New Year. Since you will be working at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. As a temporary substitute, you need to be available at short notice. We prefer that you are available immediately and can also work during the summer.

You who apply for the position have experience working in elderly care, preferably from working in elderly homes. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant and have work experience with dementia and medication delegation.

The job places high demands on initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with individuals who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for someone who has a professional approach characterized by a good view of people and good treatment.

You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
