Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for two dedicated nursing assistants for Ekdalagården – one for our short-term unit and one for our dementia department.

Your task with us is to provide our users with safe and good care and support in their daily lives.

Your main responsibilities will be to assist users with personal hygiene, social interaction, cleaning, meal support, laundry, and much more. The work includes delegated tasks such as health and medical care interventions based on the individual needs of the users.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, solution-oriented, and used to working in a fast-paced environment. You have the ability to act quickly and effectively when the situation requires it, make your own decisions, and at the same time have good collaboration skills. Since there are often admissions and discharges in the short-term unit, it is important that you feel comfortable receiving new users and quickly adapting to new situations.

You should also have some administrative experience, as documentation, follow-up, and contact with other professional groups are a natural part of the job. Good knowledge of social documentation and digital systems is an advantage.

We work with agency assignments, where you as an employee have opportunities to develop and be part of the development of the business. Contact with relatives and responsibility for social documentation is included.

Härryda municipality is working to reduce the proportion of hourly employees and instead increase the basic staffing. Therefore, the municipality applies joint planning, which means that you will work shifts in other units, but your main working hours will be performed at your home unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who sees opportunities rather than obstacles and who works with a salutogenic approach with high quality in care work. To succeed in this job, you should have good collaboration skills, work with quality awareness, and the ability to create trusting relationships. As a person, you are empathetic, flexible, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with people. The business requires that you take delegation and perform tasks according to HSL.

Competence Requirements

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• Trained nursing assistant
• Experience in care and nursing
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills, preferably with experience in social documentation

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have:

• Further education in dementia, psychiatry
• Previously worked with quality work
• Experience with Treserva, Combine, TES, and the BPSD Register
