Rödsleskolan is located next to the picturesque Döderhultsdalen. The school has about 730 students divided into grades F-3, 4-6, and 7-9, as well as about 100 staff members. All educators belong to a work team with an associated coordinator.

At Rödsleskolan, there is dedicated staff with a positive and inclusive approach who work to provide students with a good school day. We work purposefully and with great respect for each other’s similarities and differences. Rödsleskolan is a Practice School that, together with Linnaeus University, trains new teachers. This means that we have several students in our operations.

We are now looking for a licensed and committed leisure teacher who wants to become a part of our operations at Rödsleskolan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your mission is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet!

As a librarian with us, you will both work practically in the daily library operations and develop new ways to reach more readers. You will lead and drive reading promotion activities and writing initiatives by having daily contact with students. You will contribute to strengthening the library as a resource for digital accessibility, source criticism, source reliability, and AI. You will plan, participate in, and carry out events and make the library visible through social media and other channels.

The position involves being a librarian at several schools in the municipality. A B driver's license is required.

• has a degree in library and information science or other education that we assess as equivalent.
• has an easy time inspiring, collaborating, and spreading joy at work.
• has a good ability to work independently and together with others. You develop good sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and other school staff.
• feels a commitment, has a desire, and is driven to make a difference for our students.
• has a positive attitude towards the world, is flexible, sees opportunities, and is stimulated by renewal.
• sees students' different needs and creates creative learning environments based on that.
• values collegial learning and takes responsibility, structures, and organizes daily work so that governing documents are followed.

It is important to us that you are attentive, creative, and meet each student based on their conditions. You are a social team player, a secure and solution-oriented person with a positive attitude.

You can express yourself well in speech and writing and are a frequent IT user with experience using various digital tools.
