The home care service in Vänersborg is divided into several different groups that together form a whole. In Vargön, the home care service consists of two workgroups that share the same location and work closely together in a common cluster, creating good conditions for collaboration and support.

The work is scheduled in a rolling eight-week schedule where you can influence your working hours by submitting requests to create a sustainable balance between work and leisure. You are always entitled to eleven hours of night rest between shifts, and the working hours include days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will be part of the daily work in the unit. You will work according to the Social Services Act 4 chap. 1 §, and our goal is to strengthen or provide opportunities for the client to live an independent life. The tasks are varied and can also be complex based on the client's needs. As a nursing assistant in home care, you will work with standard tasks within care and support. You will work closely with the client on care tasks and be a support in daily life.

Your professional role also includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks, being part of a contact team around the client, writing and updating implementation plans, roles such as weekend planner, social documentation, and contributing to the development of the service. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working as a "Permanent Care Contact".

We work in various digital systems to facilitate and ensure good quality in the tasks. Our planning and documentation system is LifeCare Planning and LifeCare Mobile Care (LMO). We have MCSS for signing delegated health care tasks and digital locks and medicine cabinets at the clients' homes.

Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are performed by an external actor, which means that you as a nursing assistant can focus more on providing care services. Since we work in ordinary housing, you may work in homes where there are pets.

Qualifications

You should have a positive view of people, be calm and secure in yourself, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. You should also have the ability to build relationships with others, be flexible, have a good reception, be easy to collaborate with, and be attentive to the client's needs.

You need to be proficient in the Swedish language in speech and writing and have basic technical knowledge such as handling mobile phones, apps, and computers. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You have completed the Health and Care Program, and we prefer that you have several years of experience in similar tasks. Upon employment, you will need to present proof of the right to use the professional title "Nursing Assistant".

A driver's license (B) and cycling experience are required.
