Division Nära has begun a transition to Close Care, where we move healthcare into the home close to the patient. Over the past year, the clinic has developed a specialist psychiatric care team, SPOT. Do you want to be part of the journey and develop the psychiatry of the future? We are currently looking for new employees! Welcome with your application!
We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a trained nurse, with a Swedish license. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and good knowledge of the most commonly used Office programs. A B driver's license is a requirement. It is an advantage if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry and if you master any of the minority languages. Knowledge of record-keeping and experience in psychiatric care and treatment are also meritorious for the position.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are secure and stable, you are flexible and can take into account the bigger picture. You value and see the benefit of collaboration with others.
What you will work with
We are now looking for two new nurses for permanent employment in the Specialist Psychiatric Care Team in Piteå.
The purpose of SPOT (Specialist Psychiatric Care Team) is to provide more individualized care interventions at home in an outpatient form instead of within inpatient care. The goal is to shorten the need for inpatient time for patients and to avoid hospitalization in inpatient care if possible, as well as to strengthen where the regular psychiatric outpatient level is not deemed sufficient.
Care should be person-centered and adapted based on the individual patient's needs, abilities, and well-being. The target group for SPOT is patients within the Piteå General Psychiatry catchment area from 18 years of age and older, whose care level is greater than what the psychiatric outpatient care can offer in the regular operations, but who are still not deemed to be in need of 24-hour inpatient care. SPOT is available every day of the year.
Tasks included in the SPOT team may vary but can include, for example, supportive conversations, behavioral observations, medication follow-ups, anxiety management, phone follow-ups, working in resource teams around patients with complex issues, follow-ups of patients from inpatient care, support for patients during leave, family conversations, collaboration with care neighbors and municipalities. SPOT operates on behalf of doctors from inpatient or outpatient care.
SPOT is currently divided into three mobile teams with area divisions as follows:
Team 1, Acute team, collaboration with other emergency services (ambulance, police)
Team 2, Piteå – Arvidsjaur – Arjeplog
Team 3, Piteå – Älvsbyn
