The Endoscopy Clinic in Sundsvall is a large specialist clinic where nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work closely together to investigate and perform examinations in both benign and malignant surgery. Our common focus is to create an optimal and cohesive care process for each patient. We perform endoscopic procedures: Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Rectoscopy / Sigmoidoscopy. We are a stable and well-functioning workgroup with a high sense of community, where collaboration and patient focus are central parts of daily work.

As a nursing assistant at the endoscopy clinic, you play a central role in the daily patient flow. You work both closely with patients and practically to ensure high quality, good hygiene, and an efficient workflow. The work requires precision, a sense of responsibility, and good collaboration skills, as well as a willingness to combine patient contact with practical and hygiene-related tasks. Naturally, you maintain a professional demeanor towards colleagues and patients. We offer a tailored introduction based on previous work experience. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays and daytime.

The position is a full-time temporary position starting on 2026-03-01 or by agreement until 2026-12-31.

Nursing Assistant for Temporary Position at the Surgical Clinic, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic examinations (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, etc.)
• Preparation and care of patients before and after examinations
• Cleaning, disinfection, and handling of endoscopic equipment
• Sample handling and administrative tasks
• Cleaning and organizing patient rooms and examination rooms between patients and after examinations.
• Ordering and replenishing materials

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience in Surgery or from a clinic
• Have experience with the Cosmic journal system
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
