Our Offer

Day Surgery Norrköping is a surgical and endoscopy unit at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. The clinic is centrally located in new modern premises designed to ensure patient-safe care in surgery, recovery, and endoscopic activities.

The operation includes six high-tech operating rooms and three rooms for endoscopic examinations. Additionally, there is a recovery department with 13 places. We work Monday to Friday, and working hours are scheduled between 07:00 and 17:00, where you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your schedule.

Job Description

As a nursing assistant at Day Surgery in Norrköping, you will be offered interesting and varied tasks focusing on planned day surgeries.

The surgical team consists of you as a nursing assistant, an anesthetic nurse, and a surgical nurse who, in close collaboration with anesthetists and surgeons, work as a team around the patient. The work involves pre-, peri-, and post-operative care of the unit's patients, where you are an important part of the patient flow for the surgical department. Together with your team, you will handle many types of patients in surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, medicine, and ear, nose, and throat surgery.

You will have a responsible and stimulating job where you can participate in development work throughout the clinic.

About You

You are a trained nursing assistant. Experience in day surgery is an advantage, as well as relevant further education in the field.

You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and contribute to a good working climate. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and always have the patient in focus. You are also receptive and work well with others, easily adapting your perspective. Furthermore, we see that you take your own initiatives and want to contribute to improvement and development work. In your professional role, you are confident and see opportunities for development.
