Property Technician

As a property technician, you play a central role in ensuring service-oriented and efficient property management. You are part of a team with property managers, property technicians, and operations leaders who together are responsible for the operations of Property Company Nils Skoglund's owned and external management objects.

You are responsible for a number of your own properties where you handle ongoing supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of all heating, ventilation, and cooling systems as well as other technical and common areas. You have delegated responsibility for the systematic fire protection work on your objects.

You ensure that incoming fault reports are addressed according to Skoglund's routines and work to minimize damage for tenants and property owners. You are responsible for contacting tenants and reporting back when the fault has been rectified.

The role also includes patrolling and ongoing supervision of your properties as well as addressing identified deficiencies. You work both with planned maintenance and proactive measures. You conduct inspections in connection with moving in and out of residences.

Your Profile and Experience

  • You have experience working as a property technician or other equivalent work experience. Alternatively, you have completed vocational training in property management.
  • The position requires administration of service matters. You have good computer skills and experience working with digital tools. Experience with Vitec Technical Management is an advantage.
  • You should be solution-oriented and practically minded to best meet the needs of tenants and deliver quality service. It is important that you have good social skills and are attentive to meet tenants in a professional manner. It is part of our values to constantly want to improve and develop. Additional Information

  • Your base will be in Leksand, but work in other locations within our portfolio may occur. On-call duty is included in the position.
  • In order for you to be offered and take up the position, we will conduct a background check.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required, and a service vehicle will be available for the position.
  • The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.

The family business Skoglunds in Leksand was founded in 1891 and consists of Skoglunds Construction, Skoglunds Properties, Skoglunds Painting, Leksands Machine Partner, and AB Mora Construction Service. We operate throughout Dalarna with a focus on the Siljan area.

Our property company owns and manages about fifty properties with a total area of approximately 105,000 square meters, distributed over about 670 residential units and 160 commercial premises.
