SJ Krösa is looking for several train drivers for summer positions in Nässjö, are you one of them?

Your upcoming role As a train driver, you are responsible for driving the train safely and securely so that our customers have a pleasant journey. It is the train driver's job to ensure that the train is driven at the correct speed and that safety is maintained. The train driver manages any disruptions and provides traffic information to customers continuously during the journey via announcements. The train driver is also responsible for safety and order on board, as well as managing and reporting faults on the vehicles. Being proactive and actively working to continuously improve and develop the business is also part of the job. Challenges include being able to embrace modern technology and new working methods to constantly develop in the profession.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who, at the start of the position, has a degree from the train driver training program with good results. If you also have a technical background or vehicle training on X11-14, that is an advantage.

As a person, you thrive in a self-directed role where you can collaborate with others and use your communication skills. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you are motivated by a varying work pace and have good judgment, allowing you to make quick and well-founded decisions under difficult circumstances.

Special requirements To qualify for employment, you must meet the health requirements according to the Transport Agency's regulations TSFS 2011:61 and undergo an alcohol and drug test. SJ Krösa requires an extract from the Police's criminal record and a credit report as a mandatory step if you proceed in the recruitment process. A B driver's license is required.

The job requires wearing a uniform.

We offer We offer a paid basic training with instruction on our various vehicle types. The training mainly takes place in another location and includes both theory and practice.

As a train driver at SJ Krösa, you will have a varied job with both driving and shunting. We operate several different routes, both long and short, in both System M and System H. The train fleet currently consists of 2 different vehicle types, and we will introduce a completely new train model within a few years.
