Your upcoming role

As a Train Attendant at SJ Krösa, you ensure that our travelers have a pleasant and good journey. You provide our customers with service, information, and ensure safety on board. You will assist travelers and make announcements during the journey, as well as check that customers have valid tickets. You are service-oriented, have a strong safety mindset, are professional, and ensure that travelers feel comfortable and seen. In addition to training, good benefits, and development opportunities, you will have fantastic colleagues and the chance to meet hundreds of people every day. Working hours vary, and overnight stays in other locations may occur. Flexibility is required during periods of high work tempo.

The employment begins with a paid full-time training of 4-5 weeks starting in week 17.

Knowledge and experience

• Approved three-year high school diploma or equivalent

• You have previous work experience in the service industry

• You speak and write Swedish and English fluently. We also value additional language skills

• You are IT-savvy and accustomed to handling smartphones

Formal requirements

The job as a Train Attendant requires wearing a uniform. In this workplace and job, you must be drug-free, which may be checked with random drug tests.

Before employment is possible, you will undergo a health examination to ensure that your vision, hearing, and color vision are within acceptable ranges. Your employment includes several benefits and conditions under the applicable collective agreement.
