JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a production leader for the production at Tidaholm prison. Tidaholm prison has four main workshop areas: welding workshop, mechanical industry, wood industry, and assembly and packaging.

The production leader will, under the responsible correctional officer, plan and lead the operations together with colleagues. The purpose of the operations is to provide clients with employment during their time in prison and to give them practical experience. You will work closely with clients, and your work will include structured efforts to help clients and the operations achieve set goals. You will also work in our production system, as well as with preventive maintenance and service. It is important for us that you maintain order and cleanliness in your work and keep a good order in the shared workplace. Daily routine tasks such as searches and other security-related tasks are also included in your duties. You will have varied tasks and will not be stationed at a specific production area but will have a more mobile role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and are a team player, and you have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it. To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share Kriminalvården's fundamental values of a humane view of people, respect for the individual, and belief in human development. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to ensuring that everyone is treated equally with your approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous work experience that Kriminalvården considers relevant
• Completed upper secondary education (read more via the link under other)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Good computer skills
• Driving license B

It is meritorious if you have:

• Post-secondary education in manufacturing industry, carpentry, sheet metal, CNC, assembly, welding, security work, etc.
• Work experience as a production leader/foreman.
• Work experience from correctional services, security work, social care, psychiatry, or health and social care.
• Work experience from manufacturing industry, carpentry, sheet metal, CNC, assembly, welding, security work, criminology, and/or conflict management, etc.
• Relevant language skills
