We are now looking for a planing operator for our client here in Ulricehamn. The job involves operating machines that plane sawn timber, a task that requires great precision. The machines are equipped with data systems for tool settings. It is you, as the operator, who inputs the values for the settings in the program. Monitoring, checks, and adjustments are made continuously to ensure that the timber receives exact dimensions and surfaces. You work with small tolerances, and with a little experience, the pace is fast.

You will be part of the production in a small workgroup. As a planing operator, you have good material knowledge of wood and an interest in both technology and production.

Your Profile

We are looking for an engaged and solution-oriented operator who is used to working in production systems and is meticulous about the end result. We believe you have an education equivalent to a high school industrial program and preferably previous experience as an operator or have worked in a wood industry. Attitude towards work and professional pride are important! Above all, we value a positive attitude towards work and colleagues. You thrive in an orderly environment, are attentive, and have good teamwork skills.

• A forklift license is not a requirement, but an advantage.
• A driver's license and access to a car are good as public transport options to the workplace may be limited.
• Quick learner and attentive
• Technically interested

You read and speak fluent Swedish as work instructions and safety instructions are conducted in Swedish.

About the Position

The position is a temporary employment with Boge Kompetens at our client's workplace in Ulricehamn. For the right person, there is a chance for a permanent position with our client. The assignment is full-time. Salary according to agreement. We work with ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
