JOB DESCRIPTION

Tallgläntan is a special accommodation with various focuses within elderly care: dementia care, accommodation for the elderly with mental illness, and short-term accommodation. In short-term care, you work with users who are there for assessment, rehabilitation, respite, or palliative care. The work is varied and requires flexibility, good communication skills, and the ability to build good relationships with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues. You provide support in daily life and meet residents with security, respect, and dignity.

You are part of a team around the user together with care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity coordinators, which provides good conditions for health-promoting care of high quality. You will receive secure support from both care staff and other professionals. Work hours may include days, evenings, weekends, or nights depending on the needs of the service and your availability.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, rehabilitation, and the health and medical care services each user requires.
• Administering medication to users based on delegation from a nurse.
• Working in the operational system Intraphone, where everything from planning to completed visits and documentation is managed.

You also have the opportunity to express interest in weekend work! This means you will primarily work weekends. In return, you will receive a higher salary (OB compensation) and more time off during the week. Perfect for those who want to combine work with studies, leisure, or other commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with experience in care work or another relevant background. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant, care assistant, or nurse, or if you are studying to become, for example, a nurse or doctor. Working in short-term care provides a stable foundation.

You want to contribute to users' health and living conditions in a calm and methodical manner and enjoy varied work. You are flexible, responsible, positive, and collaborate easily. Attention to detail is particularly important when handling medication. You are proactive, attentive, self-driven, and meet users with respect, integrity, and a genuine interest in helping people in their daily lives.

You need to have:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• The ability to handle the IT systems necessary for the position, which requires computer skills.
• It is an advantage if you have education and/or experience in care and nursing.
• You must be 18 years or older. The age limit is set due to specific regulations according to the Work Environment Act. Regulations regarding minors' work environment are governed by AFS 2012:3.
