Nordmaling Parish is looking for skilled cemetery workers to strengthen our team for the summer season of 2026.

As a seasonal cemetery worker, you will help care for the parish's five cemeteries – a cultural heritage that encompasses both history and the present. You will be involved in the maintenance of green areas, plantings, and gravel paths. Some supervision of summer workers may also be included.

We are looking for someone with appropriate education and/or experience in park maintenance and an eye for making the green environment as beautiful as possible. You are meticulous, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team. At the cemetery, you will encounter people in grief, so your social skills are important. The work can be physically demanding, and you should not be afraid to roll up your sleeves, whether the sun is shining or the rain is pouring.

A driver's license with at least a B category is required, and we would also like you to have experience operating machinery such as ride-on lawnmowers, loaders, or excavators.

Scope & Duration

We are looking for several caretakers for the summer season of 2026. You can either work the entire season, from May to October, or during the summer months. Please indicate in your application which service periods you are interested in:

Full-time May 4 – November 30, 2026

Full-time May 11 – August 7, 2026

Full-time June 1 – August 31, 2026
