In the children's and youth department, we care for children and adolescents under the age of 18. We have a pediatric focus but also care for children in orthopedics, surgery, and ENT, and we have a close collaboration with child psychiatry. The department also cares for sick newborns and premature infants from 32 weeks of gestation. We work with family-centered care where parents are involved in the care throughout the entire treatment period. The department in Örnsköldsvik has 8 beds. Our team consists of nurses, pediatric nurses, nursing assistants, and specialized nursing assistants in pediatric and adolescent medicine. We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to our operations!

We are looking for a nurse to join us in the children's and youth department. We plan an individual introduction to provide good conditions for the assignment.We have individual schedules with plenty of room for recovery, and we work 2 out of 5 weekends. The position is a permanent full-time position starting on 2026-03-23 or by agreement.

The department offers a unique workplace with varied tasks, such as:

• Supporting the family in care
• Emergency care interventions

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you:

• Are further educated as a pediatric nurse
• Are further educated in pediatric medicine and neonatology
• Have previous experience working in pediatric medicine
