Your tasks

Together with the cultivation workgroup, other bench staff, and other partners, work towards a pedagogical setup that enables all participants in the Drivbänk to acquire knowledge that increases their employability.

You will work closely with the participants in the labor market initiative through practical and theoretical teaching throughout the process from introduction to daily guidance. The role includes mentorship for the participants, and you will collaborate with labor market consultants and other relevant actors regarding the participants. Furthermore, you will be responsible for written documentation in the form of daily notes and attendance reporting concerning the participants.

Your workplace

At the Integration and Labor Market Administration, about 350 employees work in the departments of work life and support and labor market initiatives. This position belongs to the labor market initiatives department. We are responsible for ensuring that Linköping Municipality provides relevant labor market initiatives and for conducting operations based on OSA (publicly protected employment). The main mission is to work on development for individuals in a labor market initiative. The ultimate goal is to move on to studies or work, with or without support, in the regular labor market.

Drivbänk city is a new operation that will start in the spring of 2026. You will work closely with a vocational supervisor but will also have regular meetings with team leaders from other Drivbänk operations. The workplace is centrally located on Lasarettsgatan, and working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has at least completed upper secondary education. It is highly meritorious if you have post-secondary education that the employer finds relevant, such as in behavioral science or occupational therapy. If you also have training in gardening and/or outdoor maintenance, it is considered an advantage.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have previous work experience in mentoring or coaching others. Documented experience of working with gardening and/or outdoor maintenance is viewed positively. Travel in the job is required, which necessitates a B driver's license. Likewise, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will communicate daily with participants and colleagues and be responsible for written documentation in the form of daily notes and attendance reporting concerning the participants.

To be successful in this role, we see that you take significant personal responsibility for your tasks and can effectively drive your work forward. At the same time, you easily adapt to changing circumstances, as no day is the same, and you need to meet the participants based on their daily condition. Working well with others and communicating and resolving any conflicts smoothly is a given for you. You adjust your expression based on the recipient and have a good understanding of people's different conditions.
