Swehatch AB is a company that produces and delivers day-old chicks in Sweden. The business is located in Väderstad in Mjölby municipality. The company is part of the Scandi Standard group, which also owns the brands Kronfågel in Sweden and Danpo in Denmark. The group is represented in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Ireland.

Swehatch encompasses both animal production – where the company produces hatching eggs – and two hatcheries where the day-old chicks are hatched. They operate in three locations in Sweden: Flyinge, Hagby, and Väderstad.

About the position

Montico is looking for summer staff for Swehatch in Väderstad for the period of weeks 26–33.

As part of the team, you will work with varied and important tasks within poultry production. You will be a significant part of the operation – take the chance to make a difference at Swehatch!

Job Description

• Monitoring and maintenance of production
• Handling of eggs and chicks
• Cleaning of machines
• Other production tasks

The work involves heavy tasks and lifting. The position is scheduled for 5 out of 7 days, during daytime all days of the week including holidays.

Previous experience in the industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
