The Nature and Construction Unit belongs to the Community Building Office and our mission is to strengthen and develop people with disabilities to help them move towards the regular labor market.

We are Norrköping's municipal operator within operational and maintenance assignments, focusing on external maintenance of properties in the city and clearing in forest and nature conservation areas. We have two depots, one in Bråvalla and one in Sylten.

We offer our participants work in teams and primarily work in external property maintenance, nature conservation, and carpentry performed for municipal administrations or companies. We believe that our participants should have meaningful work, responsibility, and the opportunity to see the results of their own efforts as keys to personal development.

We consist of 12 team leaders and a group manager. We are now looking for a driven drifting engineer who wants to make a difference!

Your tasks

As a drifting engineer, your main task is to relieve and support the group manager and team leaders in the ongoing operational assignment.

You work on several projects, with both short-term and long-term goals. You work with daily and long-term planning of efforts in collaboration with team leaders and the group manager.

Your tasks include contact with clients through ongoing operational meetings and quality follow-ups on site as agreed. You work on finding new clients for our services and process incoming job requests.

You are a link between group managers, team leaders, and our clients. You handle orders and create documentation for invoicing.

Your tasks include handling purchases and orders of materials, administration of our vehicle fleet, and work in case management systems. You also participate in our systematic work environment efforts.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is educated as a landscape engineer or has relevant work experience in green maintenance or outdoor environment operations.

To thrive and succeed in this position, you have experience in green maintenance, and we would like you to have experience in operations, logistics, or other similar activities. If you have machinery knowledge in external maintenance, we see it as an asset.

We view experience in leadership as a team leader, managerial role, or other supervisory function positively.

As a person, you are self-driven and have good planning skills. You organize work efficiently, create clear priorities, and have the ability to manage daily operations while also working towards long-term goals.

You are one step ahead, foresee needs, and ensure that operations run smoothly over time. You are driven by achieving set goals and are committed to delivering quality in every part of the assignment.

Since the role involves many contact points, we see that you are communicative, attentive, and confident in your collaboration with different stakeholders. You adapt your message according to the recipient and situation, build trust in dialogues, and ensure that information is clear and correct. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.

You value good relationships and have a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, where you build and maintain contacts. With a holistic view, you see both the organization's mission and the individual's conditions, and you have the ability to create the best possible match between needs, resources, and assignments.

For this role, we see that you have a B driver's license with a manual transmission. We also view having a C or CE license positively.
