At the Neurorehabilitation Clinic, we create conditions for patients with neurological diseases/injuries to live a meaningful, healthy, and rich life alongside the consequences of their condition. Here, we work with assessment, investigation, and rehabilitation efforts. In multidisciplinary teams, we conduct specialized rehabilitation.
We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Knowledge of Cosmic and experience in neurorehabilitation and/or team rehabilitation is an advantage. Personal qualities are highly valued. You have good collaboration skills as you appreciate and see the benefits of working with others. You take responsibility for your tasks and are structured in planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. You are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts.
What you will work with
We are looking for an occupational therapist to join our neurorehab team. As an occupational therapist, you will work with assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with neurological diseases and injuries, as well as investigating activity ability and writing disability certificates. We work person-centered and together with patients, we establish rehabilitation plans based on ICF. You will meet patients both individually and in groups. In the team, we have close collaboration among professions. The occupational therapists in the area meet regularly to develop the profession together. The team consists, in addition to the patient and occupational therapist, of a physiotherapist, doctor, social worker, nurse, and psychologist.
The regional specialty of Rehabilitation Medicine is part of the Division of Medicine and Emergency Care. The operation is internationally accredited according to CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Within the regional specialty of Rehabilitation Medicine, there are units for Neurorehab ward 41, Rehabilitation Medicine clinic, Garnis Rehab Center, and the Traffic Medicine unit in Kalix. The clinic has established a research and development council and has a close collaboration with Luleå University of Technology. There are good opportunities for both research and operational development.

We offer you a permanent full-time position, daytime Monday - Friday. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
