JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As staff for work operations, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production.

In daily contact with the inmates, your work will contribute to the clients' learning and also help them reflect on their situation.

After an introduction, you will be involved in managing the daily operations. You will plan, allocate work, and ensure that our deliveries are made on time. You will also participate in the production work. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for production planning.

Furthermore, you will help maintain safety in the prison, which includes controlling dangerous items, conducting searches, and overseeing the inmates' behavior while also evaluating performance. Quality control and documentation are part of the job.

In production at Hällby Prison, we work with light assembly and packaging of plastic components.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adjust your way of communicating based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it.

To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and the belief that people can develop. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or equivalent education and work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant.
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Work experience in production, warehouse work, or industrial work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience from the production unit within the prison service
• Relevant work experience in assembly and/or packaging
• Safety awareness regarding both workplace and client safety
• Knowledge of treatment work and understanding of the significance and role of the work in the inmates' enforcement
• Forklift license
• Driver's license (B)
