Foundry Operators Wanted

We are looking for two foundry operators for a well-established industrial company with low employee turnover. One of the positions is a temporary contract from March 23 to August 31, while the other is for a more long-term need, with the possibility of direct employment with the client after five months of hiring. The positions start during the day for training and then shift to permanent night work. The company is closed for vacation during weeks 29 to 32.

About the Position

The client company works with melting and die-casting in aluminum, as well as post-processing in the form of milling, turning, and simpler assembly.

As a foundry operator, you will be responsible for one to two presses where you monitor the process, make setups, and adjust existing programs as needed. ABB robots dose, handle, and transport the parts through the initial stages of processing. After pressing, you will take care of the parts, remove them from the conveyor, and perform minor manual finishing work before they proceed in the flow.

Job Description

The work takes place in a robust and warm environment and is largely repetitive. You will work independently at your machines but will always have colleagues nearby if needed. The pace is steady, and the job requires you to manage two machines simultaneously, follow procedures carefully, and maintain your focus over time.

We are looking for someone who

• Enjoys practical and technical work
• Has experience with screwing, mechanics, or working in an industrial environment
• Preferably has experience in die-casting or knowledge of basic programming of ABB robots
• Has a good work ethic, willingness, and ability to take responsibility
• Can read and understand Swedish to follow instructions and safety procedures
