This staffing is a collaboration between us at Manpower and our client. You will be employed by Manpower but will work on-site at the client's location in Örnsköldsvik.

• Location: Örnsköldsvik
• Assignment start: Immediately or as agreed
• Assignment length: 6 months fixed-term employment with a chance of extension
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, daytime

About the job as a welder

As a manual welder, you will work with welding details and hulls according to drawings. The focus is on manual MIG/MAG/TIG welding with high precision and clear quality requirements. You will be part of a team where collaboration, order, and safety are central.

Your tasks

• Perform manual MIG/MAG/TIG welding of details and hulls according to drawings
• Primarily work with steel, and if necessary with stainless steel (and preferably also aluminum)
• Ensure quality in execution through self-checks and compliance with requirements
• Contribute to a safe working method with high risk awareness and order at the workplace
• Collaborate in a team and take responsibility for your tasks in production

The person we are looking for

We are looking for someone who works independently, is quality-conscious, and thrives in a team where collaboration and responsibility go hand in hand. You are meticulous, have high risk awareness, and contribute to a stable production flow.

Requirements for the position

• High school education
• Trained welder or equivalent practical experience
• Good knowledge of MIG/MAG/TIG welding
• Experience working according to drawings
• Good material knowledge, primarily steel (preferably also stainless and/or aluminum)
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Basic IT skills

Meritorious

• Welding license
• Forklift and/or overhead crane license
