Summer Temporary Position as Junior Doctor at ASIH Stockholm Södra

Are you graduating from T 10 or the medical program this summer and want to try working as a junior doctor under the safe guidance of a specialist? ASIH Stockholm Södra offers a fun, varied, and developing job in a team.

We are in need of several summer substitutes during the summer of 2026.

We are an ASIH operation with many experienced specialists, which means that you as a junior doctor will always have a competent and experienced colleague close at hand. The operation has extensive experience in introducing and supervising students and junior doctors. As a junior doctor in the summer, you will work independently under supervision.

ASIH Stockholm Södra is a region-driven operation with long experience in advanced home healthcare and palliative care and is one of Sweden's largest ASIH operations. The ASIH team is located in offices in Handen, Nacka, and Solberga Park. Our care department is located in Solberga Park.

We care for patients of all ages with various diagnoses, but the most common are cancer, hematology, COPD, heart failure, and neurological diseases. We also have patients with shorter interventions such as antibiotics and TPN. We collaborate with acute hospitals and primary care around the patients.

With a holistic view of the individual, our focus is to create security around the clock for the patient and their relatives through high availability, participation, and continuity. We work in multiprofessional teams and have working methods that promote good quality and high safety for both patients and staff. The operation conducts research, education, and development in various areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed the medical program or are about to finish your medical degree, approved T 10. We also prioritize applications from those particularly interested in ASIH and palliative care.

You should have documented experience of having worked in Swedish healthcare as a nursing assistant or similar. It is an advantage if you are used to working in the TakeCare journal system. As a junior doctor with us, you must be prepared to work throughout the entire summer period, i.e., weeks 24 to 33. A B driver's license is a requirement.

A genuine interest in the care form and the palliative approach is important, and we particularly want to emphasize the ability to communicate and work in a multiprofessional team. If you can speak multiple languages, this is an advantage.

The position will be filled under the condition that it does not need to be used for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:
