We are looking for you as a school counselor

As a school counselor at Realgymnasiet, you work as part of the student health team according to the Education Act. You collaborate closely with teachers and the student health team to contribute to the best conditions for learning for our students. You meet with students, guardians, and staff who are offered job-specific competence in the form of conversations, support contacts, counseling, and guidance in the psychosocial area.

You drive the student health work together with your colleagues, in a broad perspective based on the current educational offerings at the school. The work also takes place together with other educational staff at the school to contribute to students' goal fulfillment.

The position as a counselor has a scope of 50%. There is an opportunity to combine the position with mentorship at 50%.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, we see that you have:

• A relevant education in, for example, social psychology, social work, behavioral science, or social pedagogy at the university level.
• Previous experience as a counselor in high school.
