About Swedegg

Swedegg is a family-owned company engaged in pullet breeding and egg production. The company is currently owned and operated by siblings Alexander and Malin Falk, who are the second generation in the business. Our eggs are packed directly on the farm for delivery to stores and wholesalers under the brand “Direct from the farmer”.
With production facilities in both Östergötland and Skåne, Swedegg is in a strong growth phase, with extensive investments for continued development and success. We are now looking for a Service Technician for our farm in Ulvsnäs outside Marieholm.

About the position

As a Service Technician at Swedegg, you will have a central and varied role in our operations. Your work will be both practical and technically challenging, where you will be responsible for ensuring that our production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your main tasks include:

Service and maintenance: You will perform regular service, maintenance, and repairs of our industrial machines, poultry houses, and properties. This includes both preventive work and urgent troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Machine operation: You will operate and handle wheel loaders, lifts, and more, and your work will be crucial for both daily operations and maintenance projects.
Technical systems: The work involves managing technical systems related to our production. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and contribute to improvements in our processes.

The position is a full-time position with working hours between 07:00–16:00, five days a week. During peak season, there may be work outside regular hours, which requires flexibility and adaptability.

About you

We are looking for a committed and solution-oriented person who thrives in a varied role and has a genuine interest in technology and machinery. To succeed in the position, we see that you:

Have experience in technical maintenance and machine operation: You have previously worked with maintenance and service of machines and have experience operating and handling wheel loaders.
Are technically interested and solution-oriented: You have a good understanding of technical systems and the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems.
Are meticulous and methodical: You have a structured approach to work and ensure that tasks are performed with high quality.
Have relevant education or experience: You have a technical education or equivalent experience in machine maintenance, repairs, and operations.

It is advantageous if you have:

Experience working in similar fields, especially in food production or the agricultural sector.
Good knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to machine handling.

We are looking for someone who is a positive team player and enjoys working both independently and in a team. Your ability to take initiative and contribute to improvements is a great asset.
