Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) is a business unit responsible for sales, projects, installation, and service for wind farms in the region. Service Nordics is responsible for the service and maintenance of our wind turbines in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. In Sweden, there is a regional office in Malmö and local warehouses across the country. Responsibilities

You will be part of a service team responsible for the service and maintenance of our wind turbines in the area. The position requires high standards of accuracy and professionalism as we are extremely keen that our service work is carried out with the highest quality and safety. Your tasks will include:

· Service and maintenance of wind turbines in accordance with service agreements

· Customer contact with owners regarding upcoming service/repairs and clear reporting of actions taken

· Responsibility and maintenance of the service vehicle including its inventory

· Responsibility for spare parts management and inventory of local stock as well as ordering materials/spare parts/tools, returns, etc.

· Daily reporting and registration in our business system Saleforce

Qualifications

· Experience or education in electrical or mechanical fields, experience in mechanics is a requirement

· Good computer skills

· Good knowledge of both Swedish and English (corporate language) in speech and writing

· Previous experience as a service technician or similar work is an advantage

· Driving license B

· Ability to work at heights

Additional Information

In this position, you will be based in Malå. Working hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday with weekend on-call duty once a month. The position involves travel with overnight stays for various further training as well as assistance in other areas, which can amount to up to 50 travel days per year but also daily trips to the wind farms. For this position, understanding regarding potential travel and flexible working hours is important.

A requirement for employment is that you are approved for mast and pole certification, which consists of a stress ECG and medical examination, which is carried out during the recruitment process.
