Norshöjden is a special accommodation focused on dementia care and has 62 places, located in 8 different departments.

Norshöjden is located about one kilometer outside central Falun. In the surrounding area, there are forests with plenty of walking areas.

Who are you?

You are responsible, independent, and confident in making priorities and leading others. You enjoy mentoring staff in health and medical care issues, are unpretentious, and are motivated to organize care in the best way together with your colleagues.

In your role, you will have continuous dialogue with relatives and inform them of changes in health status. You collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and possibly others, both internal and external contacts to ensure good care.

Job Description

We are currently looking for one colleague on part-time, permanent with a probationary period of 6 months. Employment rate 75% with start date according to agreement.

·         Licensed nurse

·         Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

We would like you to have previous experience in elderly care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to show an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
