JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a park worker, you will work with other employees in the Street/Park department, focusing on green space maintenance, upkeep of public green environments, schoolyards, and parks, including weeding, clearing paths, planting, pruning, hedge trimming, watering summer flowers, and mowing grass.

The work will be based at Street/Park, Östergatan 8, Klippan, but may also be located in Ljungbyhed, Östra Ljungby, and Stidsvig.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have vocational training in park and garden management or other education deemed equivalent by the employer, and/or you have experience in professional work within gardening/parks.

A valid B driver's license is a requirement for employment.

You must also be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and have some computer skills as we are an employer that works daily with Office365, Teams, etc.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with leaf blowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, tractors, and forklifts.

It is also advantageous if you have certificates for:

• Work on Road 1-2
• Valid chainsaw certificate A + B
• BE driver's license

As a person, you need to have social competence and the ability to work both independently and in a team. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and have a solution-oriented approach. It is important that you can prioritize tasks while being able to work in a structured manner.

You have a humble attitude towards your assignment, as it involves meeting people who are both citizens and colleagues. Being brave, willing to support colleagues and employers, and having the ability to create community and promote a good collaborative climate, even when the job can sometimes be stressful and challenging, is something we see as a given.
