About the Organization:

Korallen Nursing Home has 59 apartments for people who need somatic care and support, as well as accommodation for individuals with cognitive impairment. We now need to strengthen our staff with you, an experienced care assistant who is passionate about working in elderly care and who wants to contribute to a positive and developing work climate.

To meet today’s and tomorrow’s needs for competence, it is important that existing staff and substitutes have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and further develop within their roles. Vallentuna Municipality has an educational and quality-responsible specialist care assistant/care teacher who maps the need for education and further training and conducts these trainings.

We are centrally located in Vallentuna Municipality, close to public transport and with access to free parking in the area.

Job Responsibilities:

We are now looking for someone who has good knowledge of working in elderly care and works based on a person-centered and values-based approach. Your work includes care tasks and also includes social interaction, activities, service efforts in the form of food and meal management, laundry, and cleaning. You will also actively work in the BPSD register and establish individual implementation plans, social documentation, and perform delegated health and medical tasks.

In your role, you will be a contact person and maintain good contact with relatives and work together with your colleagues in a team. You will also have a representative role within a quality area according to agreement.

Qualifications:

  • Trained care assistant; it is an advantage if you also have a specialist education.
  • Experience from working in elderly care and with individuals with cognitive impairment.
  • Proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Computer skills are required as all documentation is done on a computer.
  • Familiar with working with contact person responsibilities, able to establish individual implementation plans and continuously follow up and update them.

The employment is a part-time temporary position starting by agreement. We apply individual salary setting.

We are now looking for part-time temporary positions between 80-90%. Daytime resource service, fixed rolling schedule, evening, day, and every other weekend. Night is a fixed rolling schedule.

Resource service means that you work in the unit that has a need for the day, so you will work in several departments. Please specify in your application which position you are interested in.
