Arla Foods is looking for a process operator for summer 2026 in Vimmerby

The Vimmerby powder plant is Arla's most modern milk powder facility and handles a large part of the Swedish milk surplus. To produce one kilogram of milk powder, 8 to 10 kilograms of milk are needed. The milk primarily comes from Arla farms in the region. In Vimmerby, whole milk and skim milk powder are produced in various qualities, mainly to be sold to other food manufacturers making baked goods, baby food, dairy products, etc., around the world.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform hygiene/cleaning work according to applicable requirements and routines.
  • Take samples and perform established analyses.
  • Assist regular staff with, for example, certain operations and equipment adjustments.

The operations conducted at our dairy place high demands on following routines and hygiene requirements according to applicable laws and directives from authorities.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have a forklift license (TLP10) and overhead crane license, as part of the job involves operating a forklift and crane. We value precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and in teams.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment, which is a requirement according to our safety and work environment regulations. These include, among other things, forklift traffic and handling of hazardous liquids, which places high demands on maturity and responsibility. You also need to have approved primary school grades in Swedish, English, and mathematics. We expect you to have a good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and to be computer literate.

Working Hours

Working hours are continuous five shifts.
