Job Description

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience with one or more common web-backend languages, such as (but not limited to) Java, Go, .NET, C/ C++/C#, Python, Node.js, and/or one or more common frontend languages such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar.
• SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases
• Unit testing frameworks (for backend developers)
• Best development practices like Agile
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Proven experience building server software on a cloud platform
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Postman, Git, Maven, Gradle
• Working experience with REST APIs and designing
• Messaging within a microservice architecture using Kafka or similar
• Spring, Spring Boot, JMS (for Java Developers)
• Knowledge of relevant standards in the area of your expertise
• Creative debugging skills
