The Traffic Office is responsible for maintaining and developing Stockholm's public spaces to ensure they are safe, attractive, accessible, and sustainable. Your role

The position involves supporting the project unit managers with administrative tasks such as planning and proposing project manager resources based on the right competence and availability. Furthermore, the project coordinator will also administer, organize, and follow up on the unit's goals and assignments, tasks, and responsibilities, as well as support unit managers in the introduction of new employees. The project coordinator will assist in quality assuring documents such as service statements before decisions.

The role involves exciting collaborations within the infrastructure department as well as with other departments in the Traffic Office.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• post-secondary education with a focus on infrastructure (e.g., Civil Engineering, Urban Planning) or another equivalent focus.
• current and several years of experience as a project coordinator and project engineer in infrastructure, e.g., parks, bridges, streets, or pedestrian and bicycle paths, or similar.
• good knowledge and experience working with the Office suite and other digital systems.

It is advantageous if you also have:

• experience working in a project management organization and knowledge of the various stages of a project, project management methodology, project timelines, project economics, etc.
• experience working in a politically governed organization.

The role requires high initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and a desire to organize and maintain order in an efficient and systematic way. Furthermore, you have a good ability to build relationships and make new contacts. A good command of language and a high ability to communicate both verbally and in writing are required.
