About the job

Position type: Permanent employment of 40 hours per week, probationary period applies.

Start date: 2026-03-09 or by agreement.

Working hours: Early mornings, daytime, and some evenings and weekends are a natural part of the job.

What will you do?

Every day offers a fast pace and new challenges, but some of your main tasks are:

• Be responsible for planning, leading, and developing the departments within your area of responsibility - both strategically and operationally. You will have team leaders and a group of skilled store employees to assist you, for whom you will also have personnel responsibility.
• Be responsible for daily operations, staffing, optimizing sales and profitability within the Fresh Goods area, and actively work with sales management/sales planning, waste, and self-control.
• Create and develop routines in daily work and develop employees and departments within your areas.
• Drive the departments together with your employees and develop the business and employees towards set goals.
• Ensure a pleasant, efficient, and sales-oriented working environment.

You will be part of the store's management team and report to the Store Manager. The fresh goods departments you will be responsible for include Bakery, Meat, Fish/deli, Fruits & Vegetables, Charcuterie and Cheese, and Dairy.

• You are skilled at creating and developing teams, are communicative and clear. You have a coaching approach, which means you delegate, provide feedback, and follow up on the work.
• You are strongly results-oriented and work effectively to optimize the department's results and achieve set goals.
• You have the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage employees to create a positive work environment and a customer experience that exceeds expectations.
• You take on your role in the management team with great responsibility and can combine operational store work with actively contributing to strategic development issues.
• We place great importance on your personal qualities, especially regarding your ability to inspire and engage employees to create a positive work environment.

We believe that you:

• Have a high school education and master Swedish in speech and writing. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it would be fantastic if you do too.
• Have several years of experience in retail and fresh goods, preferably in a leadership position.
• Have good knowledge of fresh goods departments
• Have previous experience in self-control with knowledge in HACCP and work with food hygiene.
• If you have previous experience in a leadership position or from another role with personnel responsibility, store economy, sales responsibility, staffing, and scheduling, this is a merit.
• Are relationship-building and action-oriented with a strong interest in customer service, people, and groceries.
