About the operation

The street/park is part of the technical department within the Operations and Service Administration, which is responsible for the municipality's technical operations, namely streets, parks, water and sewage, properties, cleaning, and meals.

Job responsibilities

As a seasonal worker in the park department of Hallsberg municipality, you will work with green space maintenance such as lawn mowing, trimming, flower bed maintenance, perennials, plantings, hedge trimming, crown pruning, and watering, as well as other tasks that occur within the unit.

Qualifications

For the tasks, you have a relevant horticultural education or documented equivalent experience in green space maintenance. We are looking for someone who is responsible, service-oriented, and engaged, and who has a personal interest and aptitude for the work.

As a park worker, you will meet many citizens, and good service and a positive attitude are something you value. We are looking for a person who is flexible and proactive, who can work both independently and in a team. You also need to have sufficient IT skills to handle daily work, which includes managing emails, making time reports, and digitally reporting completed work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Requirement: B driver's license.

Meritorious

It is meritorious to have a chainsaw certificate AB, work on the road, and experience working with various gardening machines such as leaf blowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, and lawn mowers.
