We are now looking for someone who is passionate about beautiful outdoor environments and wants to help us maintain our green areas within Region Örebro County! For the 2026 season, we need to hire a seasonal worker for the Park Operations Group based in Lindesberg. This is a seasonal position for six to seven months (April - October). In the Park, we work with all types of park and garden maintenance such as planning, care, construction, and planting throughout the county, which covers a total area of about 730,000 m2. Our fundamental mission is to manage and develop sustainable and well-functioning park areas for all our visitors and the Region's staff.

The Property Area is responsible for the management, construction, and operation of Region Örebro County's properties throughout the county - hospitals, health centers, and schools. We have a Property Department that manages the region's properties, including artistic decoration, a Construction Project Department responsible for planning, renovations, and new constructions, and an Operations Department responsible for the daily operation of the properties, including park maintenance. Together, we are about 140 employees, both younger and more experienced. Our employees are driven, engaged, and have high technical competence. Seasonal Worker in Park Operations, Lindesberg

The main job duties for a seasonal worker include caring for summer flowers, weeding, hedge trimming, trimming, watering, planting, cleaning, and more. You should have an interest in nature and gardening and have experience in the field. In addition to high school qualifications and a B driver's license, gardening education is a requirement. Familiarity with machinery is highly meritorious. You should have the ability to work independently and have good initiative and teamwork skills.

Experience from park operations is meritorious, as well as the importance of personal suitability, sense of responsibility, and a positive attitude.
