We are now looking for someone who is passionate about beautiful outdoor environments and wants to help us maintain our green areas within Region Örebro County!

For the 2026 season, we need to hire a seasonal worker for the Park Operations Group located in Örebro and surrounding areas (Lindesberg and Karlskoga). This is a seasonal employment for six to seven months (April - October).

Within the Park unit, we work with all types of park and garden maintenance such as planning, care, establishment, and planting throughout the county, covering a total area of approximately 730,000 m2. Our fundamental mission is to manage and develop sustainable and well-functioning park areas for all our visitors and the Region's staff.

The broad operations of Region Service contribute to facilitating work for everyone within Region Örebro County. Our approximately 1,000 employees work with IT support and development, real estate, meals, logistics and cleaning services, medical technology, procurement, and administration. A good reception, collaboration, and opportunities for development are fundamental to us.

Your main task will be as a machine operator in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg. The job includes mowing and other machine operator tasks and administrative services such as reporting.

As a seasonal worker with us, you will be part of a smaller workgroup with great commitment and interest in green spaces and sustainable development. You will work both in a team and independently.

You have a BE driver's license and a wheel loader license and preferably experience in the field. You should have the ability to work independently and have good initiative and collaboration skills as you will be part of a team with planning responsibilities. Experience in park operations is an advantage, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
