Your Mission

As a receptionist, you will have a lot of contact with our guests. You will receive bookings via phone, email, and in person, check guests in and out, and provide tips on activities and excursions.

Other tasks include maintaining the reception area such as cleaning, restocking supplies and brochures, checking cabins, laundry, and general maintenance of the area. Evening work in the shop is also included. Working hours are day/evening, weekdays, and weekends. Scheduled working hours during the period 2026-06-06 - 2026-08-30. Introduction will take place at earlier occasions.

Description of the Workplace

Stenö Havsbad and Camping is a picturesque destination by the sea, where we offer camping sites, cabins, and a warm atmosphere for our guests. We strive to provide our visitors with a memorable experience, and we are now looking for an engaged receptionist who can help us achieve this goal. Stenö Havsbad and Camping is, in addition to being a place for guests from Sweden and other parts of Europe, an important recreational area for many local residents. The campsite accommodates about 200 sites, 14 rental cabins, 5 service buildings, reception, conference, shop, guest harbor, padel courts, adventure golf, activity point, etc. The beach consists of a large sandy beach, swimming and boat docks, volleyball courts, and barbecue areas. Within the area, there is also a food and stage area with a food truck operated by an external caterer.

Your Competence

You have a knack for communicating in both spoken and written form, possess good knowledge of Swedish and English, and additional language skills are a merit. As a receptionist, you need to be stable and self-sufficient while being flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing needs and circumstances. You can maintain your composure, are accommodating in your interactions, and uphold a high level of service even when the pace of work is high, which it can be at times in the role of receptionist. For us, good teamwork skills are essential as we within the unit help each other to provide our customers with the best service. We are looking for someone with at least a completed high school education, preferably with a focus on hotel and tourism or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience with cash handling and booking systems is a merit. A driver's license is desirable. Ongoing selection will take place during the recruitment process. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
