SKYDDAT in the Nordics is a comprehensive provider of fire protection and security technology. The company helps businesses and property owners secure their operations through installation, service, and maintenance. SKYDDAT is now looking for a fire alarm and/or security technician who wants to take the next step and further develop.
About the Position
We are looking for a technician in fire alarms and security systems for SKYDDAT.
In this role, you will work operationally with installation, service, and troubleshooting of fire alarms as well as security systems such as intrusion alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. The position is fundamentally a technical role without personnel responsibility. However, for the right person, there are good opportunities for further development within the role and the company, for example towards more responsibility, specialist roles, or future leadership positions – if there is ambition and interest.
Job Description
As a technician at SKYDDAT, you primarily work on-site with customers and are an important part of delivering the company's technical solutions. You will have a varied day where practical work is combined with documentation and customer contact. Your main tasks are:
- Installation, service, and troubleshooting of fire alarms and security systems (intrusion alarms, CCTV, access control systems).
- Independent technical work on-site with customers.
- Customer contact related to assignments, including technical questions and advice.
- Documentation, reporting, and basic administration related to completed work.
- Collaboration with colleagues and project management to ensure quality and timelines.
We are looking for someone who
You are fundamentally a security technician or fire alarm technician and thrive in an operational role where you get to work practically with technology. You are confident in your craft and can work independently.
We see that you have:
- Several years of experience in installation, service, and troubleshooting within fire and/or security systems.
- Driver's license B.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills.
As a person, you are responsible, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy customer contact and collaborate well with colleagues. If you have ambitions to further develop in the profession or take on greater responsibility in the long term, we see it as a great plus.
