About the position

We are looking for an engaged and structured leader for our client's warehouse department. In the role of warehouse and logistics manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the department, which means ensuring that all processes and routines are followed and that you meet set goals. You will play an important role in maintaining efficient material supply, controlling inventory levels, and actively participating in improvement work to optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

As the warehouse and logistics manager, you will lead and distribute the daily work in the department. You are responsible for ensuring that all routines and processes are followed to guarantee the quality of inventory levels as well as efficient handling of incoming and outgoing deliveries. You will also be responsible for purchasing consumables such as boxes, pallets, and other necessary goods. Part of the job also involves making export bookings for freight forwarders and overseeing the work with counterbalance forklifts and stackers.

You will be responsible for keeping the management system's documents and routines updated and informing and training employees about them. In your role, you are also expected to actively contribute to improvement work and the development of work routines, where you will be involved in inventory and the development of routines for this.

Authority

In the role of warehouse and logistics manager, you have the right to order goods and consumables according to applicable approval rules and in consultation with your immediate supervisor as needed. You will also have the opportunity to adjust working hours according to freight forwarders' needs, for example during lunch, breakfast, or overtime. You are also responsible for managing storage areas in consultation with PUM and CSLM, as well as stopping goods that do not meet established quality requirements.
