Frövi Bruk is a world-leading manufacturer of packaging board and liquid packaging board intended for users with very high demands for efficient, creative, and functional packaging solutions. The maintenance department's mission is to prevent and rectify malfunctions in order to achieve the vision – Safety-focused maintenance with effective planning and stable operations.

We are looking for a Mechanic for Maintenance at Frövi Bruk.

As a mechanic, you will work throughout the factory and be an important resource to ensure high availability, quality, and operational reliability in our pulp and board production. The tasks are process-oriented and developmental. You are an important part of a close-knit team that works together to achieve set goals. Your work is important and meaningful, and you will contribute to a sustainable future.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Dismantling and assembling mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, valves, or bearing assemblies.
• Preventive maintenance in the form of lubrication and inspections
• Perform troubleshooting
• Participate in planning various interventions during maintenance shutdowns
• Repair other mechanical equipment
• Work order management and documentation of maintenance work

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Completed technical high school education with a focus on mechanics, workshop, industry, vehicles, or equivalent. Alternatively, experience in mechanical maintenance within the process industry that Billerud deems equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Several years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the process or manufacturing industry.
• Driver's license/certification in any of the following: hot work, overhead crane, forklift, safe lifting, mobile work platforms
• If you have continued your education after high school in a relevant field or trained in electrical competence for mechanics, we consider this advantageous.
