ESAB Perstorp has expanded its production over the past year by manufacturing welding electrodes that are delivered worldwide. We currently have around 230 employees and are facing exciting challenges ahead.

Are you handy and have a technical interest? Then this job is for you.

We are looking for a mechanic for our factory in Perstorp. You will be responsible for performing service and maintenance work, both corrective and preventive, troubleshooting, resolving issues, and carrying out repairs and modifications. We expect you to have experience in workshop/industry, assembly, and a technical interest.

You will be part of a team responsible for repairs and maintenance of production machines and auxiliary equipment. We appreciate if you are social and enjoy working both in a group and individually. You see problem-solving as a challenge and are passionate about technology. You should also be flexible and have a sense of order and tidiness.

To be considered for the position, you have worked as a mechanic/service technician with similar tasks for a few years. The working hours are daytime/shift work.

Requirements for the position:

- Completed high school education, preferably with a technical focus

- Good computer skills

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

- Knowledge and experience in welding

- B driver's license

- Ability to work shifts

- Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
