The company is a growing business in construction machinery. They primarily work with product categories such as construction hoists, lifts, and facade climbers that are rented out to customers across the Nordic region. The workplace is located in the Malmö area, but there may also be work outside of Skåne.

About the Position

In the role of Service Technician, you will perform service and repairs on machines rented out to customers. The work includes both scheduled monthly services and urgent repair requests that come in. You will also conduct annual machine services and repairs in the workshop as well as work in the field. You report to the local service manager and work closely with your technician and assembly colleagues.

Specifically, your tasks will include

-       Service and repair of machines at customer sites

-       Service and repair of machines that come into the workshop

-       Train customers on how to use the machines correctly

-       Document damages and write work orders

About You

To be considered for this position, you have

- A high school education in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge through work experience

- Experience in service, installation, and troubleshooting of machinery

- Experience in mechanical machine work is an advantage

- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

- A valid B driver's license

As a person, you are driven, trustworthy, and it is essential that you are stress-resistant and can handle different focus areas simultaneously. You also have a high quality mindset and work meticulously with both your operational tasks and subsequent documentation. The position of Service Technician also involves multiple points of contact both internally and externally. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy communicative roles, have a service-oriented mindset, and find it inspiring to communicate with customers.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7–16
