Property Caretaker at Helsingborg Arena

Helsingborg Arena is a dynamic meeting place, well-visited with over 300,000 visitors annually and host to around 120 versatile events, meetings, and congresses per year. Our arena can be transformed from a sober banquet hall to the epicenter of excitement and pulse during a sporting event or concert – and everything in between.

We are now looking for a property caretaker for our department in Helsingborg and Scen AB.

With us, you will have a varied and responsible role where you work closely with the operations and contribute to safe, functional, and well-maintained properties. The position suits you who are service-oriented, technically interested, and enjoy both planned and event-driven work.

As part of the operations and event technology department at Helsingborg Arena, you are an important player in a team of three property caretakers and a supervisor. Daily work is carried out in close collaboration with three event technicians and a production manager, as well as our operations, property, and IT coordinator. The department is led by a responsible department manager.

Your mission as a property caretaker

As a property caretaker, you are responsible for the operation, supervision, and maintenance of our properties and technical facilities. The work is varied and includes both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes at high heights or in confined spaces.

You monitor the property's technical systems, perform minor repairs, and coordinate efforts with external suppliers. The role also includes responsibility for systematic fire protection and safety work, as well as working in line with established environmental goals and routines.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with operations, customers, and visitors and places high demands on service, responsibility, and flexibility.

Evening and weekend work may occur.

Your competencies and experiences

The position suits you who are used to working in teams but also taking individual responsibility and initiatives. You are communicative and service-oriented and need to be comfortable working under time pressure and troubleshooting and resolving issues with potential customers and/or visitors in your surroundings.

You have experience working with property maintenance and have a basic knowledge and understanding of locks/alarms, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and some basic plumbing.

As tasks, documentation, and management of operational systems are partly computer-based, good computer skills and experience working with computerized systems and programs are a given.

You have experience working with several different operations in different buildings and planning work according to these conditions within given time frames.

This is an opportunity for you who have:

• Approved high school education and relevant work experience.
• Driving license B.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

We would also like you to have:

• Basic knowledge of electricity and control
• Knowledge of DALI and Crestron
• Lift and/or forklift license
• Hot work certification
• Facility management training for fire and sprinkler
• Basic knowledge of locks, alarms, and access control systems
