The Role of Operations Technician

As an operations technician with us, you will work in a group of six operations technicians, where this position is an expansion. Together, the group is responsible for the overall perspective within all property technical systems at Ryhov County Hospital and its surroundings. Examples of systems you will work with include everything from fire alarms, process cooling, and breathing air compressors to PLC and the overarching SCADA system Citect. The group is also responsible for energy efficiency in accordance with the Region's set goals.

On-call duty, with a response time of 30 minutes from home, will be included in the position after introduction. During on-call duty, you will work in all technical areas together with the second on-call team.

Your Future Workplace

Regional Properties aims to meet the region's need for suitable premises with good standards and to contribute to optimal resource utilization of premises as well as to conduct effective property management in both the short and long term. The region owns the majority, approximately 608,000 square meters, of the properties where operations are conducted, but also rents external premises of approximately 70,000 square meters. We are responsible for cost-effective and professional ownership and construction for the region's operations. Our tenants include the county's hospitals, health centers, dental care, schools, and more. Property investments total approximately 300-500 million kronor per year. Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant technical education or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way, as well as several years of experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. It is an advantage if you have experience with fire alarms, control and regulation technology, automation, and electricity, but it is not a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on how you can complement and function in the workgroup. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. A B driver's license is required as travel is involved in the job.

The work is often conducted in premises where healthcare operations are ongoing, which is why risk awareness, accuracy, and customer focus are important qualities. As a person, you are calm and stable with a flexible approach and good collaboration skills. You have high social competence and enjoy solving and managing complex issues. We also see that the right person is unpretentious and approaches all types of tasks with energy and commitment. You have the ability to work independently from a holistic perspective and plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
