Laholmshem

Laholmshem is the collective name for Laholm Municipality's wholly-owned property group, which includes two companies, Laholmshem AB and Kommunfastigheter i Laholm AB, with just over 100 employees who together manage 230,000 square meters, half of which consists of 1,550 apartments, while the rest are administrative buildings (mainly schools and preschools).

What distinguishes the property group is a clear investment in very high internal competence in project management, construction technology, outdoor environment, cleaning, operational technology, procurement, finance, HR, property management, early stages, and customer service. The corporate group had a turnover of nearly 300 million in 2022. The company is currently located in 2 offices, but decisions have been made to consolidate operations into a single office.

About the Position

The role involves, together with your colleagues in our outdoor group, being responsible for the external maintenance of our rental properties and municipal buildings throughout the municipality.

The seasonal positions will place great emphasis on keeping our outdoor environment clean and tidy, which largely involves weeding that occurs continuously throughout the season.

Other examples of tasks include litter picking, emptying trash bins, hedge trimming, and edging. One of the sought-after positions will also be responsible for mowing grass with a ride-on mower every 2-3 weeks. Daily work is led and distributed by the team's team leader.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

Requirements for the position include having basic and upper secondary education. You must have a B driver's license (manual transmission) and be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You should also have previous experience in green space management.

It is advantageous if you have at least 2 years of professional experience in green space management.

It is also advantageous if you have a BE driver's license (heavy trailer).

The positions place high demands on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is an energetic and responsible team player who enjoys working at a fast pace. You are also meticulous and punctual. As a person, you have a good ability to create good relationships both internally and externally. You enjoy working outdoors regardless of the weather. The positions require good physical fitness as some tasks may be physically demanding.
