We offer a fun and exciting Store Manager position in a flat organization where all employees play an important role and have the chance to make an impact.

You will work in a fast-paced team with various tasks and become part of a cheerful and wonderful group that works together to achieve new goals!

Responsibilities ⭐

As a Store Manager, you are an operational leader, managing daily operations and having ultimate responsibility for the store and its staff. You motivate and lead your employees so that together you achieve the store's set goals.

Your role also includes:

• Responsible for monitoring key figures in your own store in line with company requirements.
• Responsible for developing working methods and processes for how the store should operate effectively and follow the Sportshop concept.
• Sales and profitability responsibility as well as resource planning in terms of scheduling and staffing.
• Recruiting and onboarding new store staff.
• Implementing and ensuring that routines are followed.
• Creating a pleasant environment where employees have the opportunity to develop.
• Being a role model for your employees and leading them according to the company's values.

Qualifications 📑

Experience in a similar role and familiarity with staffing, personnel planning, and monitoring key figures. You should also have experience working in a large store with large staff groups, as well as experience in customer service and sales within retail, preferably in sports and apparel. Completed secondary education is required. If you also have a post-secondary education focused on leadership and/or economics, it is an advantage. Good knowledge of sports and leisure products and the ability to convey your knowledge to both colleagues and customers. A good understanding of economics and a business-oriented mindset.

Conditions 🤝🏼

The position is a permanent employment that starts with a six-month probationary period beginning in March 2026 or by agreement. The position involves varying working hours and weekend work may occur. Start date by agreement, preferably as soon as possible.

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB started in 1991 and today has 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our head office and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordics at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual players in Sweden in the sale of sports and leisure. Our range mainly consists of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands - clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
